In a shocking move, Nintendo announced today that the Platinum Games developed sequel to Bayonetta will be exclusive to Nintendo's new console. Not only is Bayonetta 2 Wii U exclusive, it is also being published by Nintendo which marks another major hardcore game that is being published by the Big N. This is noteworthy because it shows that Nintendo is making an attempt to shed some of its kiddie image and branch out into the types of games needed to draw in lapsed Nintendo gamer's that have moved to Microsoft and Sony systems. Exclusive titles sell game consoles and Nintendo is building a nice lineup of games that are only available on the Wii U.
