Mega Man 2 Remade - Fan Album

Mega Man 2 for the NES is often considered to have one of the best 8-bit soundtracks of all time with killer tracks for Metal Man, Wood Man, and Dr. Wily Castle. While I personally feel that Mega Man 3 has a more consistently excellent soundtrack, I can certainly understand why the tunes for Mega Man 2 are held in such high regard. Composer RushJet1 is continuing his excellent run of remaking classic Mega Man music with Mega Man 2 Remade. Like his previous work, the entire soundtrack has been crafted using VRC6 resulting in the same core NES audio but expanded with a much richer variety of sound. Another must listen for fans of the Blue Bomber. Enjoy!

Mega Man II GB Remade - Fan Album

Mega Man is well known for its music. Hell, some of the best music of the entire 8-bit era belongs to the Mega Man series. Sadly, there is a notable blight on that illustrious legacy in the form of Mega Man II for the Game Boy. While the game itself is a solid if not easy entry in the series, it's music is marred by horrendous instrument choices and awful high pitch sound throughout. While the other games in the Game Boy series provided excellent renditions of their NES counterparts and some truly great original pieces, Mega Man II tried to provide some original tunes for all the stages and the previously mentioned problems ruined what the developers were going for. Composer RushJet1 saw the promise in the soundtrack and set about remaking all the music with proper sound and pitch and the results are actually quite remarkable turning the games tunes into something very enjoyable. A must listen for any Mega Man fan. Enjoy!
