The game is a retro style Metroidvania game that captures that classic Metroid atmosphere and magic while blazing its own trail. When you consider that Renegade Kid's own Moon for the Nintendo DS did a better job of feeling like Metroid than Nintendo's own Metroid Prime Hunters, you know your in good hands with Xeodrifter. Xeodrifter Gets A Price, Release Date And New Trailer
Nintendo fans have had a long wait for a new Metroid title from the Big N, 4 years and counting to be exact. As we continue to wait for the return of our favorite female galactic bounty hunter, numerous indie games have stepped up to try and fill her shoes. While many (if not all) of these games are great titles, almost all of them fail to truly scratch that space themed Metroidvania itch left by Samus Aran.
