JRPG Fans Rejoice As Nintendo Showcases Xenoblade Chronicles X

Xenoblade Chronicles X is shaping up to be one of the most epic and expansive JRPG's ever made building on the amazing foundation of it's legendary Wii (and New 3DS) predecessor Xenoblade Chronciles. Nintendo has just released a showcase video which fleshes out a lot of the details for this Wii U epic. Despite the hater's trying to beat down Nintendo's gem of an HD machine, Nintendo continues to deliver some of the most fresh and unique games of this entire console generation (all of which are Wii U exclusive).

A couple of the finer details of today's presentation include the ability to own and fully customize multiple mechs (named Skells), a Garage/Base which can be modified to your personal taste, and an expansive world that is fully open to the player at the start of the game provided you've got the balls to explore (basically, if you can see it you can go there). Another interesting detail is that the game takes place in the same universe as the original Xenoblade Chronicles but does not share a continuing story meaning that anyone can jump in without being lost. Lastly, the game is structured more like an MMO or Skyrim where you have an over-arching story but are generally free to explore and blaze your own path in the world. If you're an RPG fan, be sure to grab a Wii U to experience this masterpiece which launches later this year. Enjoy!
