New Mario Kart 8 Trailer Introduces The Koopalings As Playable Racers (Plus Release Date)!

Mario Kart 8 will be a major system seller for the Wii U and Nintendo is pulling out all the stops. Today, they game us a new trailer which introduces 7 new characters in the form of the Koopalings. These devilish minions of Bowser made their debut back in the NES classic, Super Mario Bros. 3. Since then, they have been acting as world bosses for games in the New Super Mario series but this is their first time behind the wheel. Their introduction also means that Mario Kart 8 will no doubt have the largest roster of playable drivers in the entire series. Along with the shiny new trailer, Nintendo has also given an official release date of May 30th so expect a massive spike in Wii U sales this Spring. Enjoy!
