One of the most anticipated games hitting the Nintendo 3DS this year is The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds which is set in Hyrule after the events in the SNES favorite A Link to the Past. The game is an evolution of Shigeru Miyamoto's desire to see the Super Nintendo original revisited in 3D. Instead of a simple remake, Nintendo took the idea and crafted a whole new game that takes place in the same world but many years after A Link to the Past with a whole new Link.
The game is set for release this November but Nintendo just upped the mystery of the new game by revealing that the game hides a new Triforce currently being referred to as the Shadow Triforce (which is visible in the games logo). This new Triforce is directly related to the second world Link visits in the game which has been revealed as a whole new world and not the Dark World (or Golden Land) from the SNES game. You can expect much fan speculation on the implications of this new revelation and how it will relate to the entire series. Between this and Wind Waker HD, Zelda fans are sure to be very happy this fall.
