Nintendo Announces The Nintendo 2DS!
Nintendo shocked everyone today when they announced a new iteration of their successful Nintendo DS line of consoles titled the Nintendo 2DS. The machine is designed as an entry level hybrid of the original Nintendo DS and the newer 3DS. Gone is the 3D screen, 3D camera and clamshell design that has long been a part of the iconic handheld. The machine will cost $129.99 and is clearly aimed at the budget minded who want to play 3DS and DS games but aren't worried about the extra features that define the 3DS. It's an odd choice since the new machine looks rather ill designed for portable gaming but it will be interesting to see if it finds a market for itself. Enjoy!
