The original Giana Sisters game was a platformer that shared more than a few similarities with Super Mario Bros. and even prompted legal action from Nintendo. This actually helped draw even more attention to the fun little title which has grown to have quite a following. The series now rests with Black Forrest Games who recently put out the gorgeous Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams which was funded through Kickstarter (Project Giana). Having already hit PC's last October, Black Forrest recently announced that the game will be hitting the Wii U eShop this year which will mark the second appearance by the sisters on a Nintendo console, the other being the delightful Giana Sisters DS which hit the Nintendo DS in 2009 (Europe) and 2011 (North America).
