The Father Of Video Games Turns 91 Today!

Ralph Baer, the father of video games turned 91 today and to celebrate the man who kicked off the largest entertainment industry on the planet, please take a couple minutes to view this PBS mini film about this fascinating man. His inventions which include the Magnavox Odyssey (a.k.a. "the first home video game console") and the maddeningly addictive pattern game Simon have been responsible for entertaining as well as inspiring millions of people. Most impressive is that the man still invents to this day which is a testament to those individuals who have a true passion for their work. Happy Birthday and thank you, Mr. Baer!
